Every customer and every property is different. We offer practical, bespoke glass solutions tailored to your requirements, budget, and the unique character of your home.

Step 1

Specification

Room Outside specification consultation

After your initial enquiry, we will provide more information and, where appropriate, a preliminary estimate. If you choose to proceed, we will arrange a call, video consultation, or site visit to discuss your project in detail.

Our Design Consultants will assess your property’s aesthetics, available space, and any potential considerations. We’ll discuss materials, styles, layouts, and dimensions – from glass extensions to orangeries – and offer recommendations to help you visualise what can be achieved.

Step 2

Design

Room Outside design visuals and planning

We will arrange a no‑pressure meeting to present your options, supported by design visuals where appropriate. During this visit, we’ll take measurements, capture photos, and discuss materials and finishes. You will receive a tailored quotation. If you decide to proceed, we will schedule a follow‑up to finalise the design and complete the necessary paperwork.

Step 3

Planning

Architectural planning for glass extensions

We will introduce you to our specialist building partners and architects. They will conduct a detailed technical survey of your property and site. The architect will then draft plans and advise whether planning permission or building regulations consent is required (this is not always necessary). If permission is needed, we can assist with the paperwork and liaise with the relevant authorities on your behalf.

With extensive experience in Grade I and Grade II listed buildings and sensitive sites, we work collaboratively to help gain approval. Once plans are finalised and any necessary permissions are granted, we will agree a start date for your build.

Step 4

Build

Construction of a glass extension

As with any building project, some mess is unavoidable. However, our team works to keep the site tidy and secure at the end of each day.

Once your build is scheduled, we will provide a timeline, including working hours and an estimated completion date. Throughout the process, we will keep you updated to ensure everything progresses to your satisfaction.

The build begins with removal of any existing structure and preparation of foundations. Upon completion, a thorough valet clean is carried out. We will inspect the work and confirm that you are delighted with your new glass extension.

Step 5

Aftercare & Guarantee

Finished glass extension aftercare

Every structure we create is built with care and attention, using quality products and materials. With proper care and regular maintenance, your extension is designed to last for many years.

We offer a structural guarantee (full terms and duration available on request), giving you peace of mind. We also offer a specialist valet clean and maintenance service to help keep your glass room looking its best.

We can assist with planning permission. Our specialist partners and architects will advise whether permission is needed, and if so, we help with the paperwork and liaise with the relevant authorities on your behalf.

Timescales vary depending on project size, complexity, and site conditions. Once your build is scheduled, we provide a clear timeline with working hours and an estimated completion date.

We offer a structural guarantee on our conservatories and glass extensions. Full terms and duration are available on request. We also provide product‑specific warranties on glazing, roofing, and materials.
