Our customer reached out to us because, despite their love for their current conservatory, it had become unbearable in the summer and the glare made it impossible to sit in when they had full sun. Plus it was uncomfortably cold in the winter, leading to high heating costs. After learning about our glass upgrade service and the benefits of our New Generation Glass in reducing heat absorption and sun glare, they decided to proceed firstly with upgrading their roof glass. This made a huge difference to their space and reduced the heat significantly. Due to their glass room being east facing, from the early morning through to lunchtime when their structure was bathed in the full light of the sun, the roof would shield one side of the conservatory so someone could sit comfortably with the protection from the glare through the new roof if you sat on the side where the sun was streaming through the older glass side windows, it was still way too hot. The customer then asked us to upgrade all of the remaining window and door glass, which resulted in the comfortable room that they desired and meant they could now use the whole space all year round.
